Terms of Service

1. The service

ConfirmKaro is a hyperlocal discovery platform. Today we support pharmacy: patients can search for medicines, confirm stock at participating pharmacies, and collect in store. Pharmacies manage availability and confirm orders through the platform.

ConfirmKaro does not own inventory, dispense medicines, or operate as an online pharmacy. Sale and dispensing always happen at the licensed pharmacy you choose.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older (or use the service with guardian consent where permitted) and provide accurate information. Pharmacy partners must hold valid licences and authority to list their store.

3. Patient responsibilities

• Provide correct contact and order details
• Present a valid prescription when the pharmacy or law requires it
• Pick up orders within the timeframe communicated by the pharmacy
• Pay the pharmacy directly at its published price
• Use ConfirmKaro lawfully and respectfully

4. Pharmacy partner responsibilities

Listed pharmacies are independent businesses. Each partner is responsible for licence compliance, stock accuracy, pricing, prescription checks, order preparation, and all regulatory duties under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and applicable state rules.

ConfirmKaro does not supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations.

5. How confirmations work

A confirmation on ConfirmKaro means a pharmacy has agreed to hold medicine for your pickup. Availability shown on the platform comes from pharmacy partners and may change. ConfirmKaro does not guarantee every request will be fulfilled.

Unresolved disputes about price, substitutes, or fulfilment are between you and the pharmacy.

6. No medical advice

ConfirmKaro does not diagnose, prescribe, or recommend treatment. Always follow your doctor's advice and consult a qualified professional for medical decisions.

7. Intermediary role

ConfirmKaro provides software that connects patients and pharmacies. We are an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and follow applicable due-diligence obligations. We are not a party to the sale of medicines between you and a pharmacy.

8. Payments

ConfirmKaro does not collect payment for medicines on behalf of pharmacies unless we explicitly introduce that feature and disclose it. You pay the pharmacy directly unless stated otherwise at checkout.

9. Accounts & security

Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@confirmkaro.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

10. Prohibited conduct

You may not submit false prescriptions, scrape the platform, impersonate others, interfere with systems, or use ConfirmKaro for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or remove access for violations.

11. Intellectual property

The ConfirmKaro name, logo, software, and site content belong to ConfirmKaro Technologies Pvt. Ltd. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.

12. Disclaimers & liability

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConfirmKaro is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, pharmacy conduct, medicine quality, stock errors, or events outside our reasonable control. See our Disclaimer for more detail.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify ConfirmKaro against claims arising from your misuse of the service, false information you provide, or breach of these Terms.

14. Changes & availability

Features may change, expand to new categories, or be paused for maintenance. We may update these Terms; continued use after posting means acceptance.

15. Grievances

Formal complaints may be sent to our Grievance Officer at support@confirmkaro.com. See Grievance Officer for the process.

16. Termination

You may stop using ConfirmKaro at any time. Request account deletion via email. We may terminate access for breach of these Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India with competent jurisdiction shall hear disputes arising from them.
